Default RE: best bargains

The best bargins are those rifles, shotguns, pistols, what ever that you feel is of good quality and you got it for a good price. I seldom judge a rifle by the cost of it. I have paid little to nothing for a lot of the rifles in my collection, yet all of them would be hunting quality. Any of them on thewall I could load and loan to some one and would not be worried that the rifle would fail and notoperate as it should.

My first inline was a $89.00 CVA Staghorn Magnum with a nickel barrel. Out to 100 yards that rifle will shoot with any of them on the market. Maybe the fit and finish is not as good as the Black Diamond XR I own, but when you compare the price there has to be a trade off somewhere. My Wolverine was $149.99 brand new... In the woods, there is no rifle it can not hunt side by side with. Now my Whites, without question are great rifles. Their fit and finish is top of the line. So was their price.

So what is a bargin, is it the gun you feel you got a good deal on. Whether it shoots good or not. Even if you just like to walk outside and make smoke. If it makes you happy it is a good deal.
