Why can't you say it? It's true! If I were a bass fisherman from FL it wouldn't bother me in the least.
I also wouldn't see it as complaining (unless it really WAS....and that does hapen, here). And I certainly wouldn't tell you you're using the fact that you haven't caught a 10lb. bass in OH as an "excuse".
