Just my opinion, but i ALWAYS use decoys while bowhunting. I usually use a regular hen decoy with a full strutt tom decoy. I put a jake fan on and rigged it up with some fishing line to move the fan and the results are absolutely phenominal. The added movement of the fan up and down drives them crazy.

It even got the tom that i killed yesterday to come in after the hen spooked and left. He hung up at 65 yards for about 10 minutes while the hen left him. He strutted trying to get my hen decoy to come to him. When she wouldnt budge, he finally gave in and came to fight the strutting jake decoy...

Its not hard to rig up and is worth more than the ammount of time it takes to put one together. You can even do it with a jake decoy. Just cut the back tail area, but leave it attached to the decoy, then attach it to the fan and get some fishing line...
