Default Gobbler down!

Mondaymorning went out and heard nothing for an hour and a half. My cousin and I eventually saw some moving in the woods so we gave them a jake gobble. Instead we heard a gobble from the other direction. The turkeys in the woods meandered around and slowly came in, it was 3 jakes. We passed, but after thinking about it for a few minutes we decided to try to call them back so we could get the hunt on video. We gobbled again, but the gobble from the other direction was A LOT closer. I turned around just in time to see two toms come out of a fence row over a 100 yards away and break into a dead sprint when they saw our B-mobile. We turned a full 180 degrees and my cousin had to lean around the tree. We got turned around just as they arrived at 15 yards, I shot and dropped mine, then my cousin dropped the camera, grabbed his gun and dropped his tom as it was flogging mine! What an awesome hunt! My tom had a 10 inch beard with 7/8 in. spurs and my cousins had an 11 inch beard with 1 1/4 inch spurs. It was cool to see the hunt unfold and to have patience to wait it out! So I am done for the year, what a short ending to such a fun season.http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk258/tylermulvany/DSCF1186.jpghttp://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk258/tylermulvany/DSC00032.jpgMy bird's on the left.
