There is no question that the .30/' 06 is still the most versatile rifle round for all N. American hunting outide of Alaska or parts of Canada. In B.C., Alberta, N.W. Territories, I' d prefer the .338 Win.! For Africa, I consider the .375 H&H the best for all game, but for the Cape Buffalo, Elephant, Hippo, and Rhino only, I' d want at least a .416!!
