What's the average person's range with a shotgun? Bow? How many times have I seen a guy pull the trigger on a shotgun illed bird from 50yds?
It depends. for me it's 20-35 yards max with both. There are ot too may 50 yard shots with either in my neck of the woods.
Let me put it this way......
If Rob and I had had shotguns this past weekend.....we'd BOTH have a bird....and Rob would most likely have TWO. We were hunting from a blind.
So now you can tell the future LOL. What if you and Rob would have taken the blind away and had the shotgun?
You say you could not get in position b/c of the side of the blind the turkeys came from. How would that have worked of you were leaning against a tree?
