hey everyone...i just recently bought a Moultrie M40 trail camera and and witing on my locking device before i can put it out in the woods, i set the camera up and installed updates already.

i then wanted to see how the pics come out so i put it up outside today and let it take a few pics, it did 3 in a row and all turned out really well as can be seen.

my qestion is...is there something i need to set up to make it show the moon phases?

all it shows is a white circle and it makes me wonder if theres something wrong with my camera?

bear with me folks...this is all new to me and i just want to be sure i have everything in working order and set up crrectly before putting my cam out in the woods, any help and info would be greatly appreciated.

below are the first pics taken with my cam since taken out of the box and set up, i think it has great detail considering it was pouring down rain (can even see the rain).

but again, notice where the moon phase is all white?????

do they have to be outdoors for a certain amount of time before it detects the moon phases?
