So today I went on an island for turkeys and I have seen turkeys on this island for 3 weekends straight. We where there for 6 hours and didn't hear a gooble one. Had 2 hens walk in and check things out a 1:00 o'clock. I'm not sure what to think of it. We have to canoe to get there so it is a little bit more work. Do you think they leave the island durning the day to feed and maybe come back there to roast. Not sure if they roast there but do know that I have seen alot of turkeys there when I was shedding. Seen them in the mornings and afternoons for sure. Any ideas.
