Nobody in the industry I' m aware of warranties a film-dip finish. Too difficult to handle as there is no way any sort of consistent guidelines could be made to handle every problem or situation. If the bow was brand new and the dip was falling off, then I could see maybe someone replacing it, but not after several months of use, and normal wear from shooting it.
Like Russ said, so many things can wear the finish off..even excessive sweat. That' ' s why I really miss those old Hoyt anodized camo finishes. They are just too expensive and time consuming though for manufacturers to utilize in high volume.
I used to have a cheap customer who wouldn' t pay for scent eliminating sprays..he would buy isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) at the drug store and spray it on everything to kill smell . He sprayed it all over his PSE painted limbs and the paint wore clean off! You could see through the limb as it was " clear glass" .
