Default RE: How Do You Store & Carry Patch Lube?

So patch lube is something you can make your own? I like that idea. What proportions of the ingredients make a good lube? Is there a thread with recipes that you could direct me to please.
There are hundreds (thousands?) of recipes out there. I get 2 oz. of beeswax in a"muffin tin" configuration from the plumbing section of a local hardware store, and mix it with 2 oz. Crisco and 4 oz. olive oil or peanut oil. Heat it in the microwave in a glassfor about four minutes until it's liquid, stir it up a little, and pour it intoany handy container.Works fine for me.
