Welcome to HNI! I own a Diamond Marquis. I love this bow. This is my second Diamond. So As you can see I like the brand! I wouldn't say that Diamond is lower quality than Bowtech The difference is that Diamond's a single cams while Bowtech's Have Binary cams some of the Bowtech have the center pivot like the Guardian and General, another thing that Bowtech has that Diamond doesn't, is the Invelvet finish which is very nice. I don't think there is much of a difference in price between the Bowtech and Diamond bows. Diamond is slightly lower in price. Maybe 50 bucks or so. And as MarquetteMagnum said shoot as many bow as you can and see which one fits you best.
