Well I was transplanted here over 20 years ago from Michigan, and as an avid bowhunter, Colorado ranks right up there forthe animals to be hunted. You can start out by chasing antelope on theplains, flat no coverin August, end of August and through September you are chasing elk at 10,000 feet and come the first of October you go out to the eastern plains for big mule deer and huge whitetails. I have a friend in Montana and I would say that comes awful close to Colorado if not a bit better, but I love Colorado and will never leave, well not willingly anyways....
