the rifle is built with right or left hand ejection ports. you simply move the cover to the desired side. very easily done in 5 seconds at your kitchen table.

as a side note, if you live in a state that has a ban on magazine capacities, the msar might not be the best choice.. original STEYR-AUG magazines will not work reliably, (even with modification). a better choice might be the AXR, which uses ar-15 mags. (very easy to get pre-ban hi caps)....good luck!
