Default RE: Being never having killed a turkey would you?

I firmly believe that someone new to turkey hunting (or any type of hunting for that matter) should take the first legal animal they have a good opportunity to take. I remember being a frusterated youngster (not too many years ago) going turkey hunting with my dad, thinking i'd never get a turkey and putting too much pressure on myself. Once i got my first one it was like a weight lifted off me and a huge confidence boost and all of a sudden turkey hunting go a lot easier and more enjoyable. So i say put one (or two or three or four...) on the ground with the gun and then try with the bow. Besides its not like getting one within shotgun range is easy, but it is easier then the bow. Learn the ropes a little with the shotgun first and then up the difficulty i think you will enjoy it more
