I've killed them with both, I honestly enjoy shot gun hunting turkeys more, there is something about that KO punch my mossberg delivers and I "hit and run" with turkeys in this country... I cover a lot of ground... My boys (age 7 and 4)and I came within a few feet last night of killing a nice gobbler .... (hen busted us) but it was a blast and my kids are worked up to go again today after school.
