they will hit the open areas in a light rain, but durin a down pour, I think they hit the thickets.
I know for a fact these south Ar turkeys will not gobble and most of the time will not come to you when it' s cold, cloudy, and windy, or when it' s overly hot and humid. so I' d say yep, weather plays a big part in the actions of a turkey.
