Default RE: Setup of turkey decoys?

Where can I sign up for HADD?

Always had very mixed success with them... then I find out a hunter took some pellets in the shoulder/neck/face on private land that I have hunted for years. Some of the details are still fuzzy, but I do know the incident involved stalking and decoy(s). Don't think it can't happen on private property.

If you use them, minimize the safety risk by setting up next to a tree that is wider than you are. That way you're protected from behind. Hopefully you'll spot anyone trying to stalk in from the front of your setup.

I'm gonna let my two "turkey hookers" collect dust this spring.
