Probably a 96 mauser with 29" barrel.As you state it was made in 1913 and came from the Carl Gustafs factory in Sweden.Do a search and it is easy to find out when production began on the 96 and when it ceased.A carbine version was made for ease of use called the 38.Husqvarna also made Swedish military rifles and some early ones were German [Orberdorff] Top quality piece.With 160 gr bullets on game you will never recover a slug even on moose as they are super penetrators...........................I have two...............Harold
