When roosting turkeys I try not to enter the woods or make myself visible to the turkeys. I then use an owl hooter, crow call or gobble tube at sunset. It depends on which call I use. This year its has been the gobble tube. You must scout and get knowledge of the turkey patterns. It would be best to make an early morning run to your woods before the season starts. Then you can find out where they are roosting in the morning. Then once sunset gets close go out and try to get one to gobble before he goes up in a tree.
