It all started with roosting some birds Friday evening and setting up in an adjacent field.I set up my decoys, hit the box call, wasbreezy and windy this morning, 4 gobblers came in silent on a string to the decoys, they separated and the one closest on the right got popped!! He was taken with my 870 Super Magnum with 3.5 in. Federal High VelocityFlite Control #5's at approx. 30 yards.
He weighed in at 17.7 lbs with a9.75 in beard and 1 inch spurs.
