I use a gorilla tree-pod....you can do some fun stuff with your own tri-pod....
by yourself...and.......Bait (ooo..touchy subject on here).....but even without bate most of my shots are taken....you just have to play with it....and learn to move the camera arm ahead of the deer....

If you have monstersin your area be careful (without a camera man))...try it in an area you feel consistent with just doe(s) and younger bucks....when you get confident....well with a booner....I would just focus on you, the bow...and the shot placement...
