Default RE: tree stand theft

Most of the time we ' pack in & pack out' , but we
still hang 10-12 stands at various locations. We
lock them with very sturdy cables and
Master padlocks and take our climbing
sticks down and with us......every tree we hunt
and have prepared we use 4 Lone Wolf climbing
sticks, which we carry in and out. We haven' t
had a stand stolen the last couple years...
must seem like too much work for those that
come across them[:-].

Have thought of placing a trail camera up high
also, 2 problems that I see:

1. Which tree, when there are a dz. or more
to choose from?

2. What happens when you hunt that stand?
You' re gonna have to change film every time you
leave the stand because the film will be used up
on you[].

One thing I do know, if a stand is not locked up, pretty
darn good chance it' s gonna get stolen....whether it' s
on public or private land[:@][:' (].
