Default RE: Passive or aggressive philosophy?

Jeff, out of curiosity, how many years have you hunted turkeys seriosuly?
I didn't ask YOU how many years you've been hunting, seriously, because it's irrelevant. Because you're a teenager........You always ask us to judge you onthe merits of the info. you provide. I'd ask you why you want to know this.

Because, ifa bird is "henned" up, like they get around here...

You NEED to do something to get them to LEAVE those hens. If that means agressivly calling to call in the hens, or the tom. You need to do something to coax those turkeys TO YOU. If not, you are SOL.

Or, if you see a bird 80+ yards out chances are he has hens, calling him from many directions. You want him to hear YOU and COME to YOU. Aggressive calling is what works for me.

Oh, and I bet I can get blind set up, calls out, deeks out, arrow nocked in 1:30 tops. Faster if I'm with a buddy, like I usually am.
Good stuff. Thanks.
