And does your definition of "vet" limit one to bowhunting only.

I defined what I was looking for in the thread header, Dan. I meant for this entire thread to revolve around bowhunting turkeys.....because that's the way I hunt them.

Jeff the turkeys have no idea if I have a gun or bow in the blind, the effective range of a shot gun is about 40 yds. My bow is 40 yds.
I agree with your assessment about the turkeys not knowing what weapon is in the blind. I don't get where you're headed, though. And....I think you need to add about 20yds to the gun range.
