I learned with a shotgun and still call like I am using one. I was very aggressive last week and had three birds come close and then hang up because I couldn't stop coughing! Dang headcold! I intend to call pretty aggressively next week when I'm in NM trying to kill a Merriam. I will, as always make adjustments as needed.
