Default RE: hunting afternoons/evenings

they are not near as active( gobbling and struting) in the evenings as they are in the morning.with that said, you can be productive in the evenings.I have taken several birds in late evening.you need to scout and find there travle route to and from there roos area.
you can get in that area and walk and call, cackle is what I do most.to get a shock gobble, then set up quick.the few I have taken, come in quick after they heard me.

I took one about 10 to 15 min. befor fly up time.he gobble and struted for 30 min. just like in the morning.

good luck.[:-][8D]
