Well, since that gun would easily go for $3500-$4000 if it were a Super Grade made that same year, I would say that 1K is a bargain .......

I have seen Lyman Alaskans for sale on e-bay from time to time. AND, New England Custom Guns still sells the Jaeger sidemounts! Also, Griffin & Howe mounts are classic as well on that rifle. Blow me dawn! There's FIVVE of 'em on e-bay right now!!
