I am in a similar situation, my honey hole has a big ole for sale sign and the only thing in my favor is a sluggish economy. I lost a spot back in 2003 that had a 196" B&C typical taken nearby back in 2000 and one that looked bigger than that not to mention several 12 pointers in the 160-180 range. I now live a quarter mile from it and have to drive by every day on my way to work.
Sorry to hear about it and good luck finding another honey hole, they are getting harder and harder to find these days.
What keeps you from investing in your own future, your passion and guarantying a future place to hunt by purchasing your own honey hole?
