Default RE: What's Up with these Long Bow shooters?

I was one of those longbow shooters doing exactly that this weekend...........as well as my buddy and his recurve.

We would shoot an arrow from the stake, then maybe 2 apiece from a realistic 20ish yardage as well. Generally 2-3 arrows each per target but we weren't scoring, and did have 2 compound buddies there too.
We were also taking pictures and laughing it up all day. We stayed in touch with the group behind us offering several times to let them play through since we were wanting to enjoy some time with friends that we rarely seem to get these days. They were appreciative but told us not to worry about it and have all the fun we wanted.
When the round was over we thanked them for their patience and everyone had a good day.

The key to goofing off in a non-competitive round is to just use common sense and talk to the group behind you.........if you ARE the group behind the goofs don't be afraid to speak up but don't be confrontational either. The people in front of you aren't trying to do anything TO YOU, they just don't know any better.
