Still, out of 16, one buck should have emerged as the dominant and declrared that territory as his and you should have atleast seen him.
I did see one 4.5 yr old. I have no doubts he was the dominant buck in this area.

Did you see a greater or lesser amounts of 1.5-2.5 year old bucks during the 07 season?
I saw exactly 3 different 1.5 yr olds and 1 4.5 yr old

What is your property makeup? How many acres do you have? Do the neighboring landowners pass on younger bucks as well?
I was hunting approx. 75 acres of land that abutts 230 acres of sanctuary that no one is allowed to hunt. There is probably 1+ sq. mi. that these deer call "home". There's no telling what one set of my neighbors is shooting.....actually.....two sets.
