In the Norther Berks county/Schuylkll area on public land they are almost completely gone. Really!!!!!!! Just a few left. Going out this Saturday and I will put in another 5-10 miles of scouting to try and find an area that has leftover deer sign from the winter. So far this winter I have seen almost no deer sign in 4c and I would bet I have about 60-70 miles of trail walking to show for it.

This can't be a plan to improve the herd and their interaction with the citizens of our state.

5 years ago on every trip through the woods after deer season I would see actual deer.
