Well I'd have to tell ya this story. My buddy in Alabam processes deer and does taxidermy. A local that lives down the street and who is known for using the light went out after chatting with us one night. Well, just so happens that a couple does were brought in that were gut shot and had been sitting around for a while (prior to my bud getting them) my buddy was going to dispose of for the men. We went just down the road from my buddys house were the road turns and tied that deer up to some trees, bungy corded the nose to the butt and it looked perfect when you came to that turn. About a 1/2 hour later he came back by and said the deer wern't up and he was heading home. As he left, I grabbed the video camera and we took of to the street to watch. The break lights lit up, seconds later......BOOOOOM.....Seconds later.......BOOOOM! We were laughing so hard he heard us and came back. To our suprise, he still thought the thing was alive and he had just missed twice, we laughed even harder. While talking to him and confessing the trueth, BOOOOM, someone else shot. So we sat out near the road for a while and watched 2 more trucks stop and shoot that deer! It has to be one of the funniest things I have ever been involved in. Please note that this was out in the country, there were no houses, etc. anywhere around where the prank took place.
So, that brings us to a question we thought of that night. If a game warden had caught someone shooting an deer that was dead already, beside getting charged with shooting from a road/vehicle, would they get charged with taking of wildlife? What do you think?
No but sounds like the game warden should get down there make some easy arrests maybe take some trucks and guns sounds like where i live the game wardens are either dumb or lazy i think it is the later they put out a decoy five years ago caught 3 part time poachers in one night never did it again so i vote lazy
