I think some of you naysayers need to take a hard look...better yet, a knowledgeable look at the understory in 2G. It's virtually nonexistant in most places. You can see 200 yds. or more through the woods in a lot of the areas. Now just what do you think the deer are feeding on? Until the timber gets cut and the understory is allowed to regenerate, it's just pretty simple.... there is simply not enough forage to sustain a larger deer herd.
