There is a possibility that the older Knight has a 504 bore, if that is the case the "crush rib" which is meant for tight bores, might allow a lot of pressure to escape by the sabot reducing velocity.

I know when I tried the crush rib in the White with .452 bullets - I lost in excess of500 fps - the accuracy was still decent but not like shooting a 12 with a .452

Wow, 500 fps loss, that is a lot, didn't realize that. Based on that, I agree the MMP12 is the better sabot for the Knight, if they are shooting for you. Chap
