No I'm not a machinist, just like to play I'm sure your idea would work. I'd suggest to go with a clamping design for the bow's cable rod to prevent set screw damage and then a set screw for the STS rod. Your idea would lend it's self to different bow specs very well and I'm sure you'd get plenty of sales
