Tom, yeah I have heard barnes tsx due to their length can causeperformance issues in the 338wm. My plan is to try what I have and then go from their. I aminterested to see the numbers on the soon to be released 338/250 NAB, though doubt very highly we'll see any this year in our neck of the woods( a next year project if the 225's fly well).

There area couple LH 338RUM LSS floating around here as well.The 338wm is comfortable for me to shoot off the bench the RUM would be over my comfort level with a bad shooting wing[&:]. In the field never felt the recoil of any gun but to be in the field it needs to shoot paper first.
