Yes, I' ve done that. As you' re probably aware there were some variations in pre and post 64 actions. I' ve been told but not verified that the 300 H&H is challenging to mount. The Leupold site " search" doesn' t really specify any variations or differences between pre & post 64' s except for the Safari. I was hoping to find someone with actual experience with this rifle. gg.
