Most people throw away their string silencers with an STS. You make think the bow is louder without them. However, what you need to do is let someone else shoot your bow and listen from the side or toward the front and you will find the bow is very quiet and does not need the silencers. Also, you will probably not need the limbsavers either. Mine fell off and I've noticed no difference. I'd recommend saving the moeny for other toys.
