Tom, yes I can order scopes state side provided the retailer has an import/export lic. If not then no, Doug at cameralandny doesn'tshipscopes north of 49right now and SWFA have no plans too.As I mentioned above I already have the scopes just need to deciede which one goes to the 338.

Being left was one reason I couldn't pass up the deal,you don't see a lot of lhers in the 338 cals. Yesit does handle very well indeed and fits me exceptional. Like I said I was suprised!! Yes if I keep the leupold rings I will for sure lap them before mounting the scope. As to which bullet well that is for the rifle to deciede but as you mentioned we have discussed this in the past and Itend to beon the other side of the fence For me bullets are the cheapest portion of the hunt so I'm not one to skimp to save a few bucks. Time will tell but been thinking about it 225 - 250's seem like the place to be, so that's where I am going to focus my efforts to start.
