Default Skybus bites the dust

Hopefully, no one was using Skybus as a means for transportation on any spring turkey hunts as it just filed for bankruptcy due to high fuel costs and recession. I leave next week for OK and KS and a buddy that is driving out with me was going to take Skybus from Kansas City, MO to Columbus, OH and now has to find another way back. Going to be expensive for a one way trip back, but what else can you do? They're supposedly not even going to refund your money if you have a trip planned after 4/5/08. The website tells you to contact your credit card company and ask for a refund. It’s tough to establish a business in this current time period. I used Skybus a couple of times and it was a fantastic service. I knew something would have to give with the low ticketing prices. Sucks but what more can you ask for…just another lesson learned.
