I am a lefty also . I always wanted a LH Stainless Stalker. I always liked the feel of the rifle, and the weight. It seemed like it would be a very fast handling rifle. So CONGRATULATIONS.




If you keep the Leupold rings I would make sure they are lapped. I like the Leupold system as long as they are lapped.

I think your scope choice is spot on. I have one of the Conquest scopes, the quality is great. I did just see a bunch of 3X9's on the SWFA Sample List for a good price. There is also a fellow at CAMERALAND that really has some great prices on some Conquest scopes.

Are you allowed to order a scope from the US?? If I remember correctly you are from Canada.

I think I would pass on those expensive Barnes bullet's. I can not see any advantage of a so called premium bullet in the larger caliber's. They may be necessary in sub 30 caliber's, but definitely not in a .338. But then I think we have argued about that before.Tom.
