RE: choke restriction
I agree with dsheally. I tried Win HV #6s and Fed. 2 1/4 #6s and there was no comparison, the Winchesters won by a landslide. This was in a Charles Daly auto with a Hastings .650 choke.
Generally, the tighter the choke, the smaller the shot size you should go with. I don' t have an 835 so I can' t recommend particular chokes. I would suggest that you start your patterning with Winchester HV ammo, as it patterns well out of most guns I have shot.
BTW, not to be the grammer police, but it is choke constriction, not restriction.
