Default RE: Hornady Light Mag ammo

I was wondering if anyone has some ideas they can get this ammo on average 150 to 200 fps faster than standard velocites like 3000 fps for a 150 grain .308. and 3100 for a 150 grain 30-06.
I have chronyd the 165 grain Hornady interbond rounds in a 22" barrel length savage. I averaged just over 2950 Fps. I also chronyd 150 grain Remington Core Lockt rounds at 2875 and 150 grain Wincheter silver tips at 2884 on the same day. One of my hunting buddies also chronyd the 165 Light mags on the same day and registered 2947 FPS average. Both guns shot 1.5" inch groups.

Considering the Light Mags were 15 grains heavier and still approx 70 FPS faster than standard ammo fired from the same barrel I am a believer.

During my last elk hunt our group took 3 elk with the 165 light mags. Five hits on three elkresulted in3 pass thrus and the two recovered bullets were 137.5 Grains and 156 grains. The recovered bullets broke both front shoulders and the past thru rounds leftgood sizedexit wounds.

PS: The Federal 180 grain High Energy Nosler Partition rounds are also a round I have chronyd at 2870 from a 22" barrel just 10 FPS off the claimed 24" velocity. 2" groups in my gun.
