My wife made an excellent venison roast the other night and my 32 year old step daughter tried it and said it was delicious. As she was getting more my wife told her it was venison and she could not swallow the bite she had in her mouth. She said she just couldn' t do it because she thought of ' Bambi' .
I ALWAYS tell people the meat I am cooking is venison or has wild game in it BEFORE they eat any. I find this saves a lot of hard feelings because no one likes to feel like they were tricked into eating something they didn' t want to.
I also don' t want anyone wasting any of my game meats so if you don' t want any GOOD........more for me
I don' t force any opinions or dishes on anyone. I simply tell them they are missing out on the most nutrtious, flavorfull and healthy meat available in the world and if they have EVER eaten at a fast food joint they should have no trouble at least trying my dish............at least with my dish you know what meat is in there.
