I have always relied on elbow grease and agressive solvents to remove copper fouling. Chemically removing copper is the way to go when done correctly as you are introducing anything as hard as steel into the bore. I also use only Dewey coated rods and bore guides. Things have even gotten easieras I started using Wipeout foaming bore cleaner, it does aid in quicker cleaning.
