I guess that depends how you look at it. I know plenty of people I would consider "poor", or of very questionable financial stability, that own more expensive toys than I would ever dream of on twice their income. I am sure some here may consider me toward the wealthy end of the spectrum, yet I just bought my first new gun in 3 years (and not for lack of wanting one...I am just extremely financially responsible and rarely buy things I don't REALLY need...comes from a very cash-strapped upbringing).
