I'll bet whoever said that was relating to arrow spine. Weight can vary a lot depending on which arrows you choose. Anything above 300 gr is good, but most people favor about 350 grains or more.

At 60lb just about anything longer than 27" will require a 400 (.400" deflection) spine.
