Plenty of moose in Vermont. I've heard that it is one of the easier non resident draws. The only problem can be that you cannot quarter them, and a lot of areas are national forest - no motorized vehicles. Luckily, there are plenty of farmers willing to rent their horse teams during the season. I hunt in the southern part of Vermont, less tags available, but closer to home. Go onto the the state website, it will give you a list of tag allotments and rules. I believe you have to apply by May 30th.
