I'd hunt but not on my property like that. I'll admit i'd get attached as well, would be pretty cool to be outside sippin on some iced tea and have 9 deer come up to say hi.

P.S. i also noticed how skinny they were. Thats the first thing i though was man these are some tiny deer.
