Any of you that have ever played sports competitively might get this. Winning a game
by fifty points sucks, Knocking your opponent out with one punch is not fighting.
Its knocking the guy down in the tenth,its that base hit in the bottom of the ninth,those are the ones worth remembering.
And the same is true to me when hunting.It is not measured by the emotionless elimination of an unsuspecting infant.[

That is a very good analogy, but to me hunting also has a lot to do with bringing home meat. I don't buy red meat at all. I supply all the red meat we eat every year. If I did not do well enough to stalk the freezers by the beginning of whitetailseason, then I will shoot the first doe, be it a fawn, yearling, or adult, that comes by. Fawns are smaller, but they sure as heck taste the best. The rump roast isbetter than thetenderloin off of an old deer. I'm not arguing your point at all, just trying to explain mine. I don't hunt just for an adrenaline rush.
